This year will be our largest conference ever with over 250 presenters. This conference is a forum for researchers to present current information on the varied aspects of natural history for the Northeastern United States and adjacent Canada. We also encourage student participation at this conference and we will have student awards for the best overall oral and poster presentation. Field Trips and Workshops Natural history field trips and workshops have been organized by the Heldeburg Workshop and are being held in conjunction with the conference. Topics include An Evening with Amphibians, Timberdoodle Trek, Structural Geology of Thacher Park, Caves and Karst, How to Lead Any Themed Interpretive Walk, and Introduction to Blacksmithing. Juried acquisition awards will be presented to artists during the opening. This joint reception will be held in the Crossroads Gallery and Exhibition Hall. All conference participants are welcome to attend this reception. Keynote Speaker We are pleased to announce that Kenneth Storey from Carleton University will be presenting this year's keynote lecture.
