RESEARCH TECHNICIAN: Biogeochemistry / Global Change

A position is available for a full-time research technician to conduct field and laboratory research under the supervision of Dr. Adrien at Boston University. He or she will also manage a laboratory composed of undergraduate and graduate students. Research projects include the effects of elevated CO2 on forest productivity and nutrient cycling, organic nitrogen cycling in northern hardwood forests, and the effects of climate and land-use change on forest composition and productivity. The technician will be involved in the collection and chemical analysis of plant materials, soil, and water for analysis of carbon, nitrogen and/or phosphorus.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of a BA or BS in ecology, biology, chemistry, soil science or a related field.
