Hi, I am looking for a way how to estimate plant biomass per species. We use a sown wildflower strip with 20 sown species, but additional species are coming from the seedbank and from outside. In these communities I want to determine plant biomass per species. Clipping, sorting into species, drying and weighing is very time consuming, because we have so many plots. Does someone has experience with similar experiments or any idea how to do this less costly in terms of time?
