[ECOLOG-L] Plant distribution Ceiba species

I need to find out which species of Ceiba/Chorisia are indigenous to the 
Maya region of Central America and were (or most likely were--I don't know 
anything about Maya taxonomy) the inspiration for the Maya art found in 
several archaeological sites in that region.  A map of the distribution of 
the species indigenous to that region would be most helpful.
