Hello,
I am a beginning graduate student at Western Carolina University. Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata) is spreading southward in my area, and I am interested in examining its life history along a N - S gradient for my MS thesis project. I am trying to locate populations along a N - S gradient, and particularly along I-81, where I could measure flowering plant size, collect seeds or soil (seed bank) from within the population, and possibly mark plants that could be sampled next year. I would also appreciate any advice on germinating garlic mustard seeds, or even collected seeds. Many thanks for any help you can give.
