Dear All,

As some of you may know, Project AWARE Foundation is in the process of
updating its Mooring Buoy Planning Guide. The revised guide will be
available as a free download from Project AWARE website and the PDF will
be widely distributed to relevant audiences.

Besides updating the information already contained in the guide, we are
looking to expand the case study section in the guide. In particular,
we're looking for case study contributions that illustrate lessons learned
and innovative approaches associated with mooring buoy planning,
installation and management as they relate to coral reef environments and
shipwrecks. If you, or anybody you know, would like to share the
experiences by contributing to the guide, either as a couple of paragraphs
with photo(s) or a longer story (3-6 pages plus photos) please have them
contact me by June 21, for the information to be included in this second
edition. We intend to keep the guide as a living document so information
supplied after that date will be considered for inclusion in the next
annual update to the guide.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions
regarding the Mooring Buoy Guide in particular or Project AWARE Foundation
in general.

Sincerely,

Ania
