BIODEMOGRAPHY POST DOCTORAL ASSOCIATE Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in mathematical ecology and biodemography at the University of Miami. The position is set to begin in the Fall of 2008 and is for one year. The position is full time research; the fellow is expected to work on structured population models in stochastic environments, contributing to multidisciplinary collaborative work on the evolutionary ecology of lifespan. The fellow would be part of the newly established Institute for Theoretical and Mathematical Ecology at the University of Miami. Applicants should have received a Ph.D. in mathematics, biology or demography. MATLAB and R programming skills useful. We offer a competitive salary plus benefits.
