Does anyone know of studies done on dippers and their use of bridges as nesting sites? How about studies of dippers in general? Our county is planning to look at how dippers are using our bridges before and after replacement. We hope to include a brief stream description to get an idea of types of streams they're using. We have everything from urbanized to rural areas with varying levels of contamination in each. I'd like to see if others have looked at this and get ideas for how to approach this study. Thanks!
