The Department of Entomology at Iowa State University is conducting a search for a full-time, tenure-track position in applied entomology to conduct extension and research (70%, 30% respectively) on arthropod pests of Iowa field crops with an emphasis on, but not limited to, insect pests of soybeans and corn. Applications will be considered at the level of assistant, associate and full professor. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator capable of informing growers and agribusiness across multiple media. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a nationally recognized program in pest management for field crops and to collaborate with colleagues, commodity groups, and producers and their service providers.
