Hi List, I'm working with a matrix that has qualitative and quantitative data. I'm looking for the best way to analyze it and perform a cluster analysis or another kind of analysis that help me to determine similarities between plots (they are vegetation plots, but I'm working with fruits characteristics; eg, type, shape, color, size, # of seeds per fruit, etc). Somebody recomended me to turn the qualitative data into quantitative data, but then other person told me that all this transformations have a lot to argue about.
Then, now I'm looking for a software that analyze all together (quantitative and qualitative data) without turn the qualitative data into quantitative. I'll appreciate any kind of help! Thanks, Natalia
