24th Tall Timbers Fire Ecology Conference "The Future of Prescribed Fire: Public Awareness, Health, and Safety"
Announcement and Call For Papers The 24th Tall Timbers Fire Ecology Conference will be held at the Ramada Inn Conference Center, Tallahassee, Florida, USA 11-15 January 2009. We are seeking contributed papers on topics that relate to public awareness, health and safety with regard to the future of prescribed fire. We encourage papers that describe original research related to experiments, case histories, surveys, and lessons learned from fire management and policy experience. Authors of all contributed oral and poster presentations will have the opportunity publish them in the peer-reviewed Proceedings of the 24th Tall Timbers Fire Ecology Conference.
