Hi everyone, My office is looking for a speechwriter to spend a year or two at the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative & Public Affairs on leave from their academic or non-profit institution on an Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA)* rotation. This person does not need to be an experienced speechwriter; in fact, this position would be a good opportunity for someone to gain writing experience. An ideal candidate doesn't need to have a science background, just an interest in writing about science & engineering for a lay audience.
