Since the political season is heating up, I've been looking for some solid information documenting the state of scientific funding under Republican vs. Democratic leadership. Does anyone know of good articles or books on this subject? I want to be informed so I can argue persuasively. Personally I feel this election will be important in terms of future support for scientific research. Please share your ideas. Thanks!
