Job Description: We are looking for a committed and energetic individual to
direct the UW-Madison Geography graduate program, which grants both M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees across the four subfields of Geography (Human, Physical,
People-and-Environment, Cartography/GIS). The successful candidate will have
significant responsibilities in policy development and oversight with
respect to our graduate studies program and will direct graduate
recruitment, advising, and program administration.  To achieve these
responsibilities the successful candidate will work closely with students,

Knowledge Required: Applicants should have a Masters degree in geography or
related field with excellent communication (oral and written) and
interpersonal skills.  Preference will be given to those with prior
experience working with graduate students.
