Please post the following: Graduate Assistantship - Plant Community Ecology-Climate Change The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at Auburn University currently has a graduate assistantship (M.S. $15,540) available in Plant Community Ecology/Climate Change research. Auburn University assistantships include tuition and fee waivers as well as shared funding of health insurance. The starting date for this position is negotiable, but January 5, 2009 desired. As part of a larger research project the student will examine the structure and functioning of a Southern Piedmont grassland community under future climate scenarios of elevated tropospheric ozone and altered rainfall amounts. Minimum qualifications include a B.S. degree, and an interest in plant ecology and or climate change. Plant ecology, plant physiology and taxonomic skills are highly desirable (but not required).
