Tenure-track Faculty Position Available
Position: Fisheries Biologist / Ichthyologist

The Department of Biological Sciences <www.eiu.edu/~biology> at
Eastern Illinois University is seeking a Fisheries Biologist /
Ichthyologist (tenure track) to begin August 2009. Ph.D. required;
postdoctoral experience preferred. Teaching responsibilities include
introductory biology courses for majors or non-majors, senior /
graduate courses in ichthyology and fisheries ecology and
management, and a graduate course in the area of specialty. The
Department of Biological Sciences (website: www.eiu.edu/~biology)
has a diverse faculty with strong expertise in organismal and
environmental biology. Although research interests are open, we seek
candidates who complement existing strengths in the department.
Successful candidates will be expected to develop a productive and
funded research program involving both undergraduate and M.S.
