Postdoctoral Fellowship in Evolutionary Ecology
The Department of Biological Sciences, University of New Orleans invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in Evolutionary Ecology to join an integrative project examining comparative phylogeography and coevolution in Cuatrocienegas, Mexico. Cuatrocienegas has sometimes been called the “North American Galapagos” because of the incredible number of endemic species in this unique desert oasis. This project will be integrated into long-term studies of conservation, ecology, and evolutionary biology that are being done in collaboration with several other labs in the United States and Mexico. Competent to fluent Spanish speaking skills are highly desirable as is the ability to work under strenuous field conditions.
