Hello..I am a graduate student in landscape architecture, and I remember assisting a class on Environmental Issues and Ethics last year. The instructor for the course recommended the following text by Richard T. Wright. A pretty informative book with modern examples and descriptions, it covered a wide range of topics. http://wps.prenhall.com/esm_wright_envisci_9/ Of course, the professor constantly updated teachings in his class to include slideshows and presentations involving everyday examples for environmental issues.. Hope this helps a bit.
