I don't know if anyone out there works with field violets (specifically
Viola sagittata-var. sagittata or var. ovata) or not but I'll post a
question anyway.

We've had very little seed set this year in south central PA from both the
cleistogamous and the chasmogamous pods. Has anyone else run into this
problem with violets? Some of this may be due to the use of Rx fire as a
management tool, though, this typically promotes field violet growth since
they (V. sag anyway) are poor competitors. Anyone got any ideas they may
want share? Thanks.
