*POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE* Odum School of Ecology, University of Georgia, USA
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellowship in Disease Ecology. The position will involve developing new mathematical models and the analysis of data with a view to understanding the persistence, transmission dynamics and evolution of whooping cough in the US and UK.
A PhD in theoretical ecology/evolution, statistics, applied mathematics or a highly quantitative field is essential. Previous experience in the analysis of ecological or epidemiological systems would be desirable.
The position is for 2 years in the first instance, with a salary in the range of $35-40,000 per year (depending on experience), plus fringe benefits.
