The Interdisciplinary Environmental Association, an international
organization committed to an interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary
approach to environmental issues, is now accepting submissions of papers
and posters for the 15th IICE to be held in Daytona Beach FL on July
7-10, 2009. We welcome research that crosses the boundaries of
traditional disciplines to frame environmental problems, propose working
models, or address field, community, or academic issues. While any
interdisciplinary environmental topic is welcome, areas of special
interest in 2009 include:

    * Coastal Resource Impacts and Management
    * Environmental Ethics
    * Regional Water Resources and Pollution Issues
    * Environmental Impacts of Tourism
    * Climate Change and Coastal Areas
    * Creative Visions of the Changing Landscape
    * The Economics of Sustainability
    * SPECIAL TOPIC: Accreditation of Environmental Programs
