I am developing a distance ecology course for a Master of Natural Resources professional degree program, and am looking for some input. The program is aimed at students and practicing professionals with a career in natural resource management, so the course will focus on learning how ecological concepts are applied. I would like much of the information to be delivered using a method other than traditional lecture style (e.g., case studies, readings, etc.). Im also looking for a text that focuses on applying the concepts. Id appreciate thoughts from anyone, particularly those who have experience with similar courses. Thanks.
