The duties of this position include, but are not 
limited to, the following:

Serves as the Professional Training Specialist for Certificate 
Course Programs in the Center for Conservation Education and 
Sustainability (CCES).
Develops, conducts and evaluates a professional training 
certificate program in biodiversity monitoring including the 
academic, business and logistical support components.
Serves as lead instructor for the biodiversity monitoring 
certificate program (4-5 courses) for practicing professional 
wildlife and conservation biologists.
Develops, organizes, recruits faculty and participants for the 
certificate program; develops recruiting materials and application 
and screening procedures for prospective participants.
Develops certificate courses and unit educational concepts; 
researches and produces curricula, training textbook and manuals;
and develops all ancillary materials required to conduct the courses.
Conducts applied and/or basic research in fields germane to 
certificate course subject matter; publishes the results of the 
research and incorporates it into course and program development.
Identifies and manages all financial and logistical requirements 
for the certificate course program.  
Prepares reports and makes presentations about the certificate 
program; and conducts and reports all reviews and evaluations.
