Hello, I am running remote cameras and hair snares to monitor forest carnivores. I want to calculate latency to detection and have a question. If a station has been running for 6 months before an animal is detected is LTD 6 months or is it the, say, 4 days since the last check/rebait? Also if the camera malfunctioned at some point during those 6 months is LTD calculated starting after the malfunction?
Also is it appropriate to calculate separate LTD's of each species detected? Thank you! Cheers, Jocelyn Akins
