The deadline for submitting abstracts for the triennial meeting of the International Society for River Science has been extended to 1 March 2009. ISRS invites submissions on the ecology and management of both terrestrial and aquatic components of lotic systems. The meeting is set for the Tradewinds Resort, St. Pete Beach, Florida, 12-17 July 2009.
