National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology Program is currently
working on a new publication tentatively titled: *CAMPUS HABITATS AND
CLIMATE CHANGE.* This example-filled guide will give a broad look at
how campus landscapes are being managed and restored for wildlife
habitat, ecological reserves and refuges, carbon sequestration and
energy conservation.

We are currently seeking input on how to make this resource truly
useful for universities and colleges that are participating, leading, or
developing land programs on campus. And because the guide will feature
dozens of real-life examples, we are looking for stories of campus
projects that have achieved tangible results. Such projects could
include land management, restoration, landscaping for sustainability,
green-roofs, veggie gardens, and remote property management (such as
biological research stations or agricultural areas). We also want
stories that show how campuses are engaging their student, faculty, and
staff populations as well as the surrounding community.

To contribute your story, write a few sentences about the project,
mentioning any specific outcomes or quantifiable results (especially
cost-savings if possible). Please include a high resolution photograph
with your story or video links, if possible. All contributors of ideas,
stories and photos will be named and acknowledged in the publication.
