We are looking for an emergency wage technician to work 40 hours a week and can start work mid March at the Freshwater Mollusk Conservation Center in Blacksburg, VA. Please see the job description below.
Will conduct research on culture methods for freshwater mussels. Collect fish via electroshocking. Collect mussels from various rivers in Virginia and Tennessee. Operate and maintain field and lab equipment to monitor water quality. Assist with mussel propagation. Conduct routine plumbing to repair leaks. Please contact Hua Dan at: [email protected]
