15th ANNUAL EUROPEAN MEETING OF PhD STUDENTS IN EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY (EMPSEB XV)
Friday 14 - Wednesday 19 August 2009, the Netherlands Registration OPEN: February, 15th - April, 1st The EMPSEB is an annual meeting aimed to bring PhD students in Evolutionary Biology from all across Europe together in an informal atmosphere. This year's EMPSEB is organized in The Netherlands, among others by seven PhD-students from CEES. You are cordially invited to join the conference, where you will get the opportunity to present your work and discuss new ideas with your peers in a relaxed and social environment. Senior scientists working on various topics are also invited to give plenary talks and to provide experienced guidance to start your scientific career. So far, the following senior scientists confirmed their week-long attendance at EMPSEB 2009: Kevin Foster, Franjo Weissing, Eva Kisdi, David P. Hughes, Claus Wedekind, Patricia Beldade, Joachim Kurtz, Virpi Lumma and Michael Hochberg. Registration will be limited to 80 PhD students.
