I am a graduate student and my project concerns the relationship between precipitation and primary productivity. For my analysis, I am using long-term datasets of primary production and annual (or growing season) precipitation. I want to include as many datasets as possible, and include data from as many terrestrial ecosystems as possible. I currently have data from North American LTER sites and datasets cited in Le Houerou et al. 1988. I am asking for your help in collecting more datasets. In particular, I am looking for datasets that meet the following criteria: 1) 10 years in length or longer from the same site 2) production data is from the field 3) terrestrial ecosystems 4) Accompanying precipitation data is available either from the site or records from a nearby weather station
I am particularly in need of data from outside of the United States and from non-grassland ecosystems, but any time series of primary productivity and precipitation that meet the criteria would be greatly appreciated. Published and unpublished datasets are both welcome, and of course all datasets used will be properly cited.
