The University of Tennessee at Martin is offering a field course on the aquatic macroivertebrates of Reelfoot Lake and surrounding aquatic environments. This is an introductory course covering structure, classification, ecology, and identification. The course involves field work and physical activity. It will be taught at the Reelfoot Lake Research and Teaching Station in Samburg, TN (approximately 35 miles west of Martin, TN).
The course runs from May 11 - May 29 and meets Monday-Friday from 9 - 3. On-site housing will be provided.
