I would appreciate any advice people can provide on the best instruments to use to measure NDVI with handheld instruments. I am considering purchasing a Unispec DC set up but it runs around $22K so I want to be sure its really worth the $ when there are less expensive units (e.g., Tetracam).
I found the Tetracam to be difficult to use under variable light conditions. It takes a while to set up and processing data can be slow. Is the Unispec going ot be much better? I am working in tundra ecosystems of the arctic. Thanks for any help, Robert Pattison
