Is there money for graduate students to publish in open access journals? I agree with Jane Shevtsov's comment about the cost of open access journals. That is, publishing in open access journal seems superior to the old model so that everyone can access articles, but how can poor scientists (i.e., grad students like myself) afford to publish in open access journals?
