Hi Ecologgers, I am writing a news story for a British magazine on malformed frogs and the possible link to parasites and pollution. The mag also wants to look at a British angle and i wondered if anyone out there has been working on malformed frogs/parasites in the UK - or knows of a contact in this field.
A number of frogs were found in the UK with five legs a few years ago, but i can't find out whether they were tested for parasites at that time. Any leads or contacts in this area greatly appreciated, Cheers Jo Jo Isaac, PhD Research ~ Writing ~ Photography NatureJobs postdoc journal: http://www.nature.com/naturejobs/archive/postdocj/2009.html 'When you have seen one ant, one bird, one tree, you have not seen them all.'
