Research Technician Positions Available

I seek motivated individuals to assist with ecology, conservation biology, 
and fisheries biology research projects in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas 
and Missouri.  Work will include field sampling and experiments in 
streams, mesocosm and laboratory experiments, as well as office work.  
Projects include the possibility of developing special research projects 
and co-authoring publications. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Two full time technician positions are available.  Start date as early as 
Sept 1, 2009 (flexible) and end date is February 28, 2010 (flexible).  
Salary is $1,500 per month.   

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The technicians will perform work in the field, lab and greenhouse.  
Duties will include field sampling, maintenance and operation of field and 
laboratory experiments, data collection, computer input, and analysis and 
writing (dependent on ability).  Preference will be given to candidates 
with a BS in ecology, conservation biology, fisheries or a related field.  
Applicants should have a willingness and ability to perform field work, 
good note taking skills, and a positive attitude.
