Dear all,

I am currently seeking a Ph.D or research assistantship position in the
field of spatial ecology. My main area of interest and expertise is in
population ecology (especially of herbivore-environment interactions) in
tropical regions. In addition, a combination with biodiversity and habitat
degradation (through human activities) studies would be of great interest.
Another field of interest include conservation biology, especially in the
area of species distribution and habitat suitability models by use of remote
sensing and GIS software.
Furthermore, as highlighted on my resume, I have broad experience in
ecological fieldwork (both terrestrial and marine) and also statistical skills.

Feel free to contact me for more information or forward this email to anyone
interested.

Kind regards,

Jelle Harms (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
