The Department of Biological Sciences at Eastern Illinois University is seeking an Animal/Cell Physiologist (tenure track) to begin August 2010. Ph.D. required; postdoctoral experience preferred. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in animal physiology and molecular cell biology, and a graduate course in area of expertise. The Department of Biological Sciences (www.eiu.edu/~biology) has a diverse faculty with strong expertise in organismal, environmental, and molecular biology. Although research interests are open to all areas of animal/cell physiology, we seek candidates who complement existing strengths in the department. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a productive and funded research program involving both undergraduate and M.S. students.
