Innovative Approaches to Evolutionary and Organismal Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites
applications for a
tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidate’s
research will use
innovative molecular approaches to address questions in evolutionary or
organismal biology.
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability or strong potential to establish
and maintain a
vigorous, extramurally-funded research program. Preference will be given to
candidates who
complement departmental strengths in conservation biology, ecology,
evolution, and organismal

successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. and appropriate post-doctoral
training. S/he will
contribute to our Ph.D. program in Conservation Biology and M.S. program in
Biology, and
teach graduate and undergraduate courses. UCF has a strong research emphasis
