Hello All,
thanks for all the helpful comments and suggestions. Several people
pointed me to the tug site (where I should have looked first , of
course!) esp. this link http://www.tug.org/utilities/texconv/textopc.html
The solution that I settled on was to use latex2rtf to compile the .tex
file to a .rtf file that my collaborator can open and edit in Word.
Any edits will have to be manually inserted into the .tex file but thats
not too bad.
You can get latex2rtf here: http://latex2rtf.sourceforge.net/ It was
easy to install and use in Linux (you just compile with latex2rtf
instead of pdflatex or latex...). It says there is a PC and Mac version
but I didn't try them so I don't know how well they work.
Thanks again for all the responses!
Ken
