Apologies if this has come up before? Recently there was some discussion of our National Park System.
I had heard that Ken Burns was doing a series on the history of the National Park System. Did not realize it was completed. Watched Part 3 last night, and it was excellent. If you are expecting brilliant color still images or colorful video, you won't see it here. Burns, if you are not familiar has done several incredible, award winning documentaries....Civil War, Major League Baseball, etc. All incredible. The research he and his staff do is 2nd to none. Probably not great stuff for the classroom?, but you will come away feeling like an expert. One of the features last night was on the Grand Canyon and how it became a National Park. Great stuff. Thank you. Mike Nolan ---------- If we are on another line or away from the phone, please leave your number, best time to return your call and/or your e-mail address.
