I am looking for a research position where I can utilize my expertise in conducting field research on different aspects of environmental science; communicate research results through scientific publications, conferences, bulletins, etc.; and exercise leadership to enhance teamwork to successfully achieve goals and objectives of the organization. Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois. My research focuses on assessing the nitrogen balance associated with bioremediation technique efficiency to reduce nitrate pollution from agricultural subsurface drainage systems and assessing N2O mole fractions denitrified from soils in fields under biofuel and conventional agriculture management. At present, I have been guiding a graduate student in measuring N2O and CO2 emissions from fertilized and control *Miscanthus* plots using vented chambers and LI-COR instrument, respectively. I have published nearly a dozen scientific research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, one paper on N-balance has been recently accepted and another on denitrification research is currently under peer review. I have demonstrated ability to work in an independent manner with others in a team framework and have ability and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
