The Ecological Society of America relies heavily on the volunteer efforts of their membership. Here is an opportunity to contribute to the Society and help shape its' future. The Applied Ecology Section is soliciting nominations for new officers. The three offices to be filled include Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary. A description of the duties for these offices can be found in the Section Bylaws on the Applied Ecology Section webpage at http://www.esa.org/applied/. If you would like the opportunity to get more involved with the Section and would be willing to run for one of these offices, or if you know of anybody who you think would be willing to serve, please consider submitting a nomination by May 30th. In addition, the Applied Ecology Section is looking for someone who would be willing to assume responsibility for maintaining the Section's website.
