Dear ECOLOGgers,
I want to measure soil moisture and soil temperature in Galápagos, in wet and warm conditions with shallow soils. Looking for the most economic sensor for both measurements and came across DECAGON 5TM (formerly EC-TM) sensors. I talked to people who made bad experiences with these sensors (in dry conditions) and others who made good ones. Has anyone made similar experiences or could recommend other (better?) sensors (in the same price range of 165 US$ or below)? Thanks for your help, Heinke
