*SUMMARY*.  Wisconsin Wetlands Association (WWA), a statewide non-profit
organization based in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a 50%-75% Office
Manager/Member Services Assistant. WWA is dedicated to the protection,
restoration and enjoyment of wetlands and associated ecosystems through
science-based programs, education and advocacy.   We have a small, energetic
staff, supportive board, and dedicated membership working to protect the
state's wetland resources through education, training, advocacy, and
research on key issues that affect wetlands. WWA is the only statewide
organization focused exclusively on wetland protection. Our more than 1300
members include wetland scientists and educators, conservationists, outdoor
enthusiasts, concerned citizens, and local and regional organizations.  For

*Salaried position at 20-30 hours/week in a flexible office environment.*

*Duties:*

   1. Manage overall day-to-day operations of the office.
   2. Manage organizational bookkeeping using QuickBooks software; process
   invoices; maintain system for cost allocation; generate financial reports
   for board meetings, funding applications, and funding reports; and oversee
   annual audit of organizational finances.
   3. Coordinate payroll and employee benefits program, including retirement
   plan and flexible spending accounts.
   4. Coordinate production of organization’s annual report.
   5. Respond to routine phone calls and route other calls as appropriate.
   6. Handle incoming mail, including routing and check and credit card
   processing.
   7. Provide clerical and administrative support to Executive Director and
   for other staff as appropriate.
   8. Order/maintain office supplies, equipment and computer systems.
   Contact vendors for repairs and maintenance.
   9. Assist with event and program planning, including annual Wetland
   Science Conference.
   10. Assist with member communications (donor database entry, renewal
   letters, thank you responses, fundraising appeals, etc.)

*Qualifications*

·         Experience with management of a small office preferred

·         Grant management (financial).

·         Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.  Experience
with bookkeeping (especially with QuickBooks), database management, mail
merge, preferred.

·         IT skills preferred.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Ability to interact effectively with volunteers, members, staff
and the general public.

·         Ability to work independently on multiple projects.

·         Interest/background in natural resources/conservation highly
desirable.

·         Commitment to mission of Wisconsin Wetlands Association.
