Professor (Open-Rank) in Ecology and Conservation Biology University of Toronto Scarborough
The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a tenure stream position (at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level) in Ecology and Conservation, to begin July 1, 2011. The successful applicant must have a strong publication record, evidence of a sustained and externally funded research program, and a proven commitment to graduate student supervision and training. Candidates with an active field program are especially encouraged to apply. The incumbent will be expected to take a leadership role in a planned Professional Masters graduate program in Conservation and Biodiversity. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in research and have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level. They will also be expected to participate actively in the Graduate Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto, and to undertake an active research program centered at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
