Postdoctoral Research Associate Position in Tropical Agroforestry

The successful candidate will participate in a project that aims to develop 
educational materials such as textbooks and on-line courses on tropical 
agroforestry for a Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) funded 
project in the Congo Basin. This intended position will primarily work with Dr. 
Damase Khasa (University of Laval, Quebec City) and Dr. Scott Chang in those 
efforts. Independent research on agroforestry such as conducting literature 
reviews for peer-reviewed publication is encouraged. Other lines of independent 
research can be accommodated as well.

Funding is available for one year and a competitive salary will be provided. 
The position is located at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Persons with training in agroforestry and experience in tropical agroforestry 
are encouraged to apply. Ability to communicate effectively in English and 
evidence of productivity from previous work are essential. Some knowledge of 
French would be an asset. You must be highly motivated, able to work 
independently but at the same time be a good team player.
