A Wiki for Methods in Plant Ecology and Physiology is Launched!!
PrometheusWiki (PROtocols, METHods, Explanations
and Updated Standards Wiki) is a free-content web
resource based on our contributions. The resource
is found at

The two main features of PrometheusWiki are that
it is free, and it combines wiki-edited as well as peer reviewed content.
Among the many methods covered by PrometheusWiki are:

· Microscopy and imaging
· Gas exchange
· Water relations and hydraulic conductivity
· Soils and rhizosphere
· Experimental treatments for abiotic stress
· Basic statistics for biologists
This resource was designed to assure access to
information on the best methodology, the
development of consensus best practices, and
increased student training and collaboration

Many ESA members uploaded protocols and
introductory summaries before the site went live,
last week. Everyone is invited to add protocols,
or revise those already there, or simply leave
comments and questions for the community to answer.
