We invite you to participate in the 2010 AGU Fall Meeting special session B03:

PHENOLOGIES, CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY

Phenologies are integrative ecological responses to environmental variation and
change. Human agency affects phenologies, directly and indirectly. Many
indicators point to significant phenological changes. Beyond detection and
attribution are questions of how to mitigate and to adapt in response to
changing environments. What are effective methods to project phenologies? Is it
enough to use key variables from climate projections or is something more
needed to portray the phenologies of possible futures? What are the roles of
land use change?

We welcome the entire spectrum of phenological studies, especially how
phenologies can provide means to manage resources in future landscapes.
