Hello all, Our lab recently bought a new vial of the San Joachim standard soil reference material from NIST to use as a quality control check for total soil carbon and nitrogen. The original soil standard (SRM 2709) is no longer available, and the new one (SRM 2709a) is certified for neither total C nor N. Has anyone run this new SRM for total C and N? If so, has anyone found reasonably consistent values that I can use as a starting point for calibration?
Thanks, Sean Berthrong
