The University of Oregon Sociology Department and Environmental Studies Program invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2011. We seek candidates who demonstrate potential for outstanding research and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level in Environmental Sociology. We especially encourage applications from candidates focusing on environmental justice. The position is .6 FTE in Sociology and .4 FTE in Environmental Studies and requires a demonstrated commitment to working in an interdisciplinary program.
