Hello All,
In response to the ecfological laws debate: How have trophic efficiencies increased over time? Doesn't the "idea" of succession sum up the "Everything/resources change over time"? What about "species evolve together as a result of their environments and each other"? I see how the cumulative number of species may increase over time, but what is the pattern? Do we "always" have a influx of species in a given time/space that are slowly reduced to the "fittest"? Or does the pattern work toward a more steady divergence? I realize that many examples can be given for the latter, but I think the conclusion must be based upon a time scale. Thanks, M. Coston Courage doesn't always roar.
